InterviewGPT ("we", "our", "us") operates the InterviewGPT.in website and InterviewGPT desktop application. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Payment information (processed securely via third-party payment gateways)

Feature usage statistics
App version and operating system
Conversation transcripts and AI suggestions (securely saved to your Session History)

Cookies & Tracking

Necessary storage supports security, authentication, and site functionality. Analytics, advertising measurement, attribution, and session analytics are enabled by default.

Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics measure site usage and performance across the website and product journey.
Meta Pixel measures Instagram and Facebook advertising results and supports conversion optimization. To match those results, your browser looks up its own public IP address through ipify about once a day; we pass it only to Meta.
Microsoft Clarity provides privacy-masked session recordings, heatmaps, and journey diagnostics.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with strict access controls.
All transmissions are encrypted using industrial-grade SSL/TLS.
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant third parties.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Third-Party Services

We use these services to run InterviewGPT. Each one receives only the data it needs for its job:

AI answers and resume analysis

OpenAI GPT models (the models behind ChatGPT)

Interview answers, ATS checks and resume writing help. Requests are routed through Vercel AI Gateway, with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Bedrock as fallback providers.

AI headshots

Google Gemini

The photo you upload is sent to Google’s Gemini image model to create your headshot.

Live transcription

Deepgram

Call audio is streamed to Deepgram in real time to produce the transcript. We do not keep audio recordings.

Payments

Razorpay

UPI, card and netbanking payments. We never see or store full card details.

Sign-in, database and hosting

Clerk, Supabase and Vercel

Account sign-in, encrypted data storage and serving the website and API.

Analytics and advertising measurement

Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, Meta Pixel, ipify and Microsoft Clarity

Site usage, ad results and privacy-masked session diagnostics, as described above.

The AI models are chosen by InterviewGPT and are the same for every user. The model list shown in the app is for information only. ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude can also be opened as websites inside the Invisible Browser; anything you do on those websites is governed by their own privacy policies.
